Seahorse Farm Winery — A Much-Talked-About New Addition to Cape May’s Wine Scene
Cape May has long been one of New Jersey’s premier wine destinations, and Seahorse Winery is easily the most talked-about newcomer this season. Set to open in early June, Seahorse is already generating real buzz among locals and visitors alike — and the timing couldn’t be better for a summer visit. Just a short distance from our Nest West property in West Cape May, guests staying at Nest West are perfectly positioned to be among the first through the door when it opens. Whether you’re a serious wine enthusiast or just love a relaxed afternoon with a great glass, Seahorse is shaping up to be a must-visit addition to Cape May’s already flourishing wine trail.

The Rise — A Sauna & Hydrotherapy Retreat in West Cape May

Mediterrano by Santorini — A Stunning New Restaurant in West Cape May
Food lovers will recognize the location — 110 Sunset Boulevard, the former Exit Zero space — but the experience is entirely new. Mediterrano by Santorini brings Greek and Mediterranean cuisine to West Cape May from the team behind Santorini Wildwood, Venezia, and La Cantina, so there’s real pedigree here. The menu is impressive: grilled octopus, saganaki, spanakopita, and Cape May salty oysters to start, followed by whole bronzino, braised lamb shank, grilled lamb chops, and a lobster risotto that already has people talking. Open daily 4–10pm. They’re currently BYOB (local wines and mocktails available on-site), which makes for a fun evening — grab a bottle from one of the Cape May wineries and head over. Call ahead for reservations: (609) 600-3322.

The Coastal Cruiser — A New Hop-On, Hop-Off Shuttle for Wine & Sightseeing
This might be the most fun new addition to the Cape May area this season. The Coastal Cruiser is a brand new hop-on, hop-off shuttle service running a continuous loop through the very best of Lower Cape May County — and it’s perfect for a day of sipping and exploring without worrying about driving or parking.
The route hits some of the area’s most beloved stops: Hawk Haven Vineyard, Cape May Brewing Company, Cape May Winery, Behr Brewing, Turdo Vineyards, Nauti Spirits, Seahorse Vineyards, and Willow Creek Winery — plus a stop at the Cape May–Lewes Ferry and the day wraps up at Cape May Rotary Park right in the heart of town. Shuttles run 10am–10pm on a continuous loop, with an estimated 20–30 minutes between stops.
Buy a day pass online, start at any stop, and ride unlimited all day. It’s a genuinely great way to see more of the area and discover spots you might never have found on your own. Book at thecoastalcruiser.com.

Surfside Grill — Boardwalk Classics Are Back on the Promenade
Cape May’s promenade has a fantastic new addition this season. Surfside Grill is the brainchild of Jess and Colin, locally born and raised Cape May natives who are bringing back the boardwalk favorites everyone loves — burgers, cheesesteaks, funnel cake, and more — right on the promenade between the arcade and The Fudge Kitchen. They opened March 28th and are already up and running, so no need to wait. Find them on Instagram at @surfsidegrillcapemay.

Fresh produce, local vendors, and a genuine community feel. Guests at Nest West are just a short stroll away.
